Not sure what can be said about springtime, but I can tell you that sunshine and heat are far better companions than snow and cold!!

Speaking of heat, we're going to be bringing lots of heat to Greenfield's Pub in Barrhaven, May 12th as we team up with Daisytrain to help out with the Brenda Troke Survivorship Social. Brenda Troke is a Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Survivor, partial proceeds from this event will go to The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, Cancer Survivorship Care at the Maplesoft Centre. This will be a great night for a great cause, we might be a bit tired as we're firing all engines the night before to help the students of John McCrae Secondary School in Barrhaven with their annual Relay For Life at the Ben Franklin Dome. Last year the kids from McCrae raised an amazing $35,000 for Cancer Research and they're aiming to beat that amount this year!! What a great month for Cancer awareness, it's such an awful disease that hopefully will be cured someday soon!

Later this month we're off to Renfrew to crank it up at Finnegan's, if you're kicking around the Frew on May 26th be sure to stop in for a couple of Renfrew's coldest pints and don't forget to bring you foot stompin' shoes as you'll regret it if you don't!!
